Using playbooks

Robin AI’s Playbook feature allows you to receive tailored contract markup recommendations powered by a combination of machine learning and the latest generative AIs.

About playbooks

Playbooks are a set of instructions for marking up different contract types. You can have as many playbooks as you need to cover any scenario. For example, your organisation might have a different playbook for different types of supplier agreements.

You can set a playbook for a contract during upload. Each playbook contains a list of markup suggestions that are tied to individual clauses in the contract. When a contract is uploaded, Robin’s machine learning algorithm will automatically read through the contract and label the clauses in the contract.

Robin AI’s playbook then uses generative AI models to suggest edits to each identified clause. These edits will automatically show up in the right sidebar of the contract editor. To accept a playbook suggestion, simply click on the suggestion text. Robin AI will then automatically insert the text change, with tracked changes, using the suggestion that most minimised redlines.

Setting up a playbook

Robin’s legal team will work with you to set up and edit playbooks. If you need a new playbook or a change made to an existing playbook, please reach out to our support team at support@robinai.co.uk.
